Consumers, generators or other utilities desiring to connect to the City of Garland/Garland Power and Light electric transmission system must do so under Interconnection Standards developed under NERC Standard FAC-001.

The following standards are to be used as a starting point for entities who want to connect to our transmission system. Final design of any interconnection needs to be coordinated through GP&L’s Transmission and Distribution Substation Engineering group.
